We have fibre for sale from raw in the bag to finished yarn. Lots and lots of fibre. Did
you know that alpaca and llama fibre comes in 22 natural colours. From bright white
to all shades of fawn, brown, maroon (my favourite!!!), gray, silver gray, rose gray to
bay black and true black.

Alpaca and llama fibre is much, much warmer and stronger than sheep's wool.
There is no prickle factor from the finer grades and the stronger grades can be used
to produce socks, felt for outer wear and slippers, batts for quilts and pillows, dog
beds and sooooo much more!

Llama can be as soft as alpaca. On Bella Cria Farm, we have a 14 year old classic
llama named Cid. His fibre tested out at 15 microns. That is very, very soft and warm.
So don't let anyone tell you that llama isn't as good as alpaca.

The Studio is stocked with garments made from the fibre of our animals. These hand
knitted pieces are original designs created by myself. Some of them have won
awards for design and craft.
